How krypco money works

Your wallet is also your bank account.

Every mavi wallet pairs with a personal EUR IBAN on krypco. Receive your salary by SEPA, hold euros and dollars on-chain, withdraw to any bank in seconds. One address, real money, no middlemen.

The shift

Crypto wallets can't pay rent. Banks can't reach DeFi.

krypco is the bridge. Same address holds your salary and your on-chain assets — and they actually talk to each other.

The old way
  • Bank account at one bank. Wallet on another chain.
  • Move EUR → exchange → stablecoin → wallet. Three days, three fees.
  • Pay someone in EUR? Off-ramp first. Hope it clears.
  • Salary in crypto? Pray your employer figures out a payslip.
The krypco way
  • Wallet IS your bank account. Same address, both worlds.
  • SEPA in → kEUR out, or vice versa, in seconds.
  • Pay anyone in EUR with on-chain settlement underneath.
  • Salary in EUR, holdings in BFr, savings in kUSD — one wallet.
Personal IBAN

A real bank account, tied to your wallet.

Your personal IBAN is a regular EU bank IBAN. Same format any bank issues, same SEPA routing, same legal status. The only difference: it's linked to your wallet address, not a debit card.

On-chain money

kEUR & kUSD — stable, native, redeemable.

When EUR enters your IBAN, the krypco chain mints the same amount of kEUR to your wallet. Burn it later and the EUR comes back out. Same for kUSD with regulated USD stablecoin reserves.

kEURkrypco EUR
1 kEUR = 1 EUR

Backed 1:1 by reserves of a regulated euro stablecoin held with an audited custodian. Redeem any time by sending to your personal IBAN — EUR arrives in seconds via SEPA.

kUSDkrypco USD
1 kUSD = 1 USD

Backed 1:1 by reserves of a regulated US dollar stablecoin. Hold, send and swap freely on-chain today; direct USD bank payouts via ACH/SWIFT come in a later phase.

Why this matters

Six reasons people switch.

Instant SEPA payouts

Withdraw to any bank in the SEPA zone in seconds. No batch windows, no two-day waits, no 'pending' purgatory.

One wallet for EUR, USD and BFr

Hold and send all three from the same address. Cross-currency moves happen on-chain in a single click — no exchange roundtrip.

Self-custody by default

Your wallet, your keys, your money. We never custody beyond the seconds it takes to settle a SEPA transfer in or out.

Programmable money

Salary auto-splits. Recurring rent. DAO treasuries that pay invoices. Anything your wallet can sign, your IBAN can settle.

Transparent reserves

Every kEUR and kUSD is backed 1:1 by regulated stablecoin reserves. Reserves are audited monthly and on-chain verifiable.

Built for the EU

MiCA-aligned, GDPR-compliant, DAC8-ready. Your IBAN is real, registered, and accepted by every European bank.

The full flow

From signup to first payout.

01
Connect a wallet, verify your identity

Standard KYC — passport or ID, selfie, proof of address. One time only. Your data lives in an encrypted vault, not on-chain.

02
Receive your personal IBAN

A real, registered EUR IBAN issued in your name and tied to your wallet. Use it like any bank account — share it for your salary, set up direct debits, do business.

03
EUR arrives → kEUR appears

When SEPA payments hit your IBAN, the same amount of kEUR appears in your wallet on the krypco chain. 1:1, instantly, redeemable any time.

04
Send, swap, hold or withdraw

Move kEUR like any token. Swap into BFr or kUSD. Send to another wallet. Or withdraw back to any SEPA bank — your bank or anyone else's.

Trust & reserves

Backed, audited, on-chain verifiable.

kEUR and kUSD are not algorithmic. Every token in circulation has a corresponding euro or dollar held in regulated reserves with an audited custodian. Reserves are reconciled on-chain so anyone can verify the peg in real time.

Full reserve, no fractional

Every kEUR is backed by 1 EUR held in reserve. No fractional-reserve banking, no rehypothecation, no DeFi yield-stacking on user funds.

Monthly attestations + on-chain proof

Reserves are audited monthly by an independent firm and proven on-chain via a published reserves contract. Reports are public.

Ringfenced from krypco

User reserves never touch krypco's operating treasury. If krypco itself fails, your kEUR and kUSD are still redeemable.

MiCA, GDPR, DAC8 ready

Built for the EU regulatory environment from day one. Compliance status visible in your wallet at all times.

FAQ

The questions everyone asks.

Is my IBAN really mine?

Yes. It's a real bank IBAN, registered in your name with a regulated EU institution, and tied to your wallet for the lifetime of the account. You can share it on invoices, give it to your employer, register direct debits — anything a normal IBAN does.

What happens if krypco disappears?

Your kEUR and kUSD are on-chain — you keep custody no matter what happens to us. The reserves backing them are held with regulated partners, ringfenced from krypco's own treasury. You can always redeem 1:1 through any compatible bridge.

How fast is 'instant'?

Instant SEPA settles in under 10 seconds across most EU banks (24/7, weekends and holidays included). For banks that don't support instant SEPA yet, payouts complete same-day during business hours.

Is this a custodial service?

No. Your wallet is non-custodial — your keys, your money. We only hold funds for the seconds it takes to mint kEUR after a deposit, or to send EUR after a withdrawal. Everything else lives on-chain in your control.

What's the difference between kEUR and 'normal' EUR?

Functionally none — 1 kEUR = 1 EUR, always, redeemable for SEPA at any time. The difference is what you can do with it: kEUR is programmable, composable with smart contracts, and moves at chain speed instead of bank speed.

What about kUSD?

Same model — 1 kUSD = 1 USD, backed 1:1 by regulated USD stablecoin reserves. Direct USD bank withdrawals via ACH/SWIFT come in a later phase; today you can hold, send, and swap kUSD freely on-chain.

Are there fees?

Receiving SEPA into your IBAN: free. Holding kEUR / kUSD: free. Sending to another wallet: just chain gas. Outgoing SEPA payout: small flat fee (covers the bank rail). Swaps via the AMM: 0.05% on stable pairs, 0.3% on BFr pairs.

Do I have to KYC?

Yes, once. Issuing a real IBAN means complying with EU AML rules — there's no way around that. We keep the process minimal, your data stays encrypted, and only verification status (not your documents) ever touches the chain.

One wallet. Real money. Built for the way the world actually works.
