Become a Validator
Validators are the backbone of the krypco network. They produce blocks, validate transactions, and earn BFr rewards proportional to their Proof of Productivity score. Unlike traditional PoS, krypco rewards active participation across seven measurable activities.
Validator Requirements
Recommended: 100,000+ BFr for higher reward allocation

Productivity Score Activities
Your productivity score determines block production probability and reward share. Scores decay at 10% per day of inactivity (50% remaining after 7 days). Max score: 100,000 points.

Reward Structure
Validators earn from multiple revenue streams. Rewards are distributed at the end of each epoch (24 hours), proportional to your productivity score share.
Block Rewards
Proportional to your productivity score. Higher scores produce more blocks and earn more rewards each epoch.
Transaction Fees
0.1% of collected transaction fees are distributed to validators. The remainder is burned, creating deflationary pressure.
Productivity Bonus
Top 10% of validators receive a +20% bonus multiplier. Validators with score above 50,000 earn an additional +10%.
Slashing Conditions
Validators are subject to slashing for misbehavior or negligence. Slashed BFr is burned. Understand these risks before staking.

How to Become a Validator
The onboarding process ensures only qualified participants validate the network.
Express Interest
Submit your node public key, hardware specs, and KYC documents via krypco.eu/validate.
Testnet Validation
Run your node on the testnet for 14 days. Monitored for 99%+ uptime, 100% block accuracy, and <500ms response time.
Productivity Scoring
Achieve a passing score of 80/100 on the testnet productivity assessment.
Register On-Chain
Call registerValidator() on the ValidatorRegistry contract with your stake amount.
Stake BFr
Lock a minimum of 10,000 BFr as your validator stake. Higher stakes increase reward share.
Start Validating
Launch your node with the --validator flag on mainnet. Rewards begin at the next epoch boundary.
